We are excited to announce that FTCES will host our "Literacy Luau" on Wednesday, March 4th, from 5:15 PM to 7:00 PM. The evening will start with an opportunity for families to visit our school gymnasium, where they can speak with representatives from the Free Library of Philadelphia, purchase tickets for our Scholastic Book Raffles, browse book selections from local authors of The Back Yard Kids! series, play games, and win prizes. Snacks and refreshments will also be available for purchase.

All parents & guardians who attend the FTCES 2026 Literacy Luau will receive a Towne dress-down day pass for their FTCES student(s).

On Friday, March 6th, Franklin Towne Charter High School (FTCHS) will hold a visitation day and placement test for all 8th grade students from Franklin Towne Charter Elementary School (FTCES) who will be attending FTCHS this fall.

Marking Period 2 report cards are now available for parents and guardians of FTCES students in grades 1-8 through the FTCES PowerSchool Parent Portal.

We are excited to announce that the annual FTCES Talent Show will be held on Friday, March 13th. Students from grades 3-8 who wish to participate are invited to send their audition videos to Ms. Gallagher and Ms. Nestman by Friday, February 7th. We’re excited to invite all middle schoolers to the FTCES Winter Semi-Formal Dance on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM!

FTCES Candygrams are on sale now! Candygrams are on sale for $0.50 each until Tuesday, February 10th. To ensure delivery before Valentine’s Day, all Candygrams must be turned in by Wednesday, February 11th.
