Dismissal
In our best efforts to ensure your child's safety and transportation needs are met, please complete the following forms below to indicate how you would like your student dismissed each day. The dismissal option you choose will help inform teachers and staff of how your child is dismissed daily throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
- If this plan needs to be changed during the year, on a temporary or permanent basis, you must send a note/email to your child's teacher that includes a contact number to verify the dismissal change.
- Yellow Buses are available for students in Grades 1st through 6th ONLY.
- Please be reminded that SEPTA is available ONLY to 7th & 8th grade students.
- The FTCES After School Program will begin on Tuesday, 9/8/2026.
- If you have any questions regarding the FTCES ASP program, please contact the ASP director at [email protected].
- If you have more than one student at FTCES in grades K-3, a form must be completed for each child. After submitting the form, you can use the "Submit Another Response" option for each additional K-3 student.
Dismissal Procedures & Safety Reminders: Students in Grades 1–8 will dismiss Monday through Thursday at 3:15 PM and on Friday at 1:30 PM. Students in Kindergarten will dismiss Monday through Thursday at 2:45 PM and on Friday at 1:00 PM. To ensure a safe and orderly process for all students:
- Do not double-park, drop children off in the street, or call them across the road. Designated areas are in place for these procedures.
- Obey all traffic laws when driving near the school. With more than 950 students dismissing daily, there is absolutely no reason to travel at a high rate of speed at any time.
- These expectations also apply to morning drop-off. If you are driving your child, please take a few extra minutes to use the bus lanes or park in the garage and walk them to the entrance.
We have recently made facility improvements, including a safe walkway from the parking garage, to help protect our students during arrival and dismissal. If a staff member asks you to move because you are double-parked, please do so immediately and respectfully. This is not a personal request—it is for the safety and well-being of every child in our care.
Thank you for your cooperation and continued commitment to keeping our school community safe. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the FTCES Administration.
