What is i-Ready?
i-Ready is an online program that helps us identify your child’s strengths and areas for growth, customize their learning experience, and track their progress throughout the school year. i-Ready allows us to meet your child where they are and provides data to guide instruction.
The i-Ready Diagnostic is an adaptive assessment that adjusts its questions based on student responses. Each item a student receives depends on their answer to the previous question. For example, a series of correct answers will lead to slightly harder questions, while a series of incorrect answers will result in slightly easier ones. The goal of this is not to give your child a score or grade but to figure out how to best support their learning.
Students in grades 1-8 will complete the next i-Ready Reading and Math Diagnostic beginning on Monday, January 12th.
